Bio your diesel and pay a fine or go to jail

Class 8 HYBRID's

So, I've been running about a B20 mix, topping tank off with B99, for about two years. I hadn't changed my stock fuel filter in about 5000 miles and the 2mic in about 10,000 miles. Anyway, pulled the stock filter and found this sludge/goop snot looking whitish gunk in the bottom of the fuel canister. I poured some Seafoam in, dissolved it, and drained the canister. Everything is cool and fuel pressure is at a steady 22 psi. Anyone have any idea what it was? Something left over from the bio?

Probably some heavy fats that didn't fully convert because of not enough titration, and it settled out. I've heard of this a few times.

Thanks for the info. The bio is commercial B99. Another question, I usually top off with B99 after filling with #2. Is this the best way to ensure the bio mixes well with the #2?

I would think it would mix better putting the smaller volume of b99 in BEFORE filling with the larger volume of #2.

I add 1 gal of B100 to each fill so I run a B3-B5 mix and I always add the B100 first to make sure it gets mixed well as I fill up with Dino Diesel.
