I have been reading about the Azure Biodiesel Company and am interested if anyone out there has actually used this system and feels that it is worth it???

They say that whatever runs on #2 diesel can use biodiesel? What are your thoughts? Sound good if there are no long term losses.

Thanks for any input... . silverfoxdiesel

I am in the middle of doing the mixing meathod in the DSE www.dieselsecret.com ... ... In the WVO and other ingredients, is supposed to be as good as bio-diesel without the methanol convrsion process.

Look in the alternative fuel section for more info

Azure Biodiesel just markets/sells the FuelMeister. It espensive (about $3000), needs to be set up in a shed, or something similar, due to fumes, and still has the added cost of the barrels.

Here's a fumeless one you can make yourself for about $400 to $700:

Their March, April, and May issues have articles on biodiesel. In the April issue instructions are laid out for making a small batch of biodiesel. The May issue has instructions for washing the biodiesel.
