Bittersweet Day...Sold My 92

With the high fuel prices, I could no longer justify having 2 CTD trucks so yesterday I sold the old girl. If fuel prices were $3. 00/gallon or less, I wouldn't have even considered selling it.



The guy who bought it already has 2 1st Gen's and 1 2nd Gen (he's a contractor) so he could at least appreciate it.



I did find another 1st Gen for sale nearby that is mint so I could buy that and not tell wife :-laf



I'll still cruise the 1st Gen forums (best one IMHO)

Think I'll keep the "old girl," dump a few more $$$ into her and enjoy. It only has 177K on the clock so many many many miles left



Plus, I get confused on how to operate a gasser... . where's the "wait to start light?":-laf:-laf

Fuel prices will be back down. I don't tell most people that because I want to buy stuff from them cheap. You'll see $3 and lower diesel again.

Good Move!... Nothing like a first gen truck. . Yours is still a baby milage wise plus there are no payments. . as far as fuel costs go, you not saving any money by selling as you can only drive one vehicle at a time
