Houston Meeting this Sunday?

GLTDR July Get Together

Saturday July 27, from 9:00 a. m. to 6:00 p. m , we at Black Mountain Diesel are pleased to extend, to the members of the diesel community, an invitation to our open house.

Many fun details are yet to be determined, but a cookout and a Show 'n' Shine are definite, so get those trucks clean!

Some performance installations are a possibility, but may require some persuasion :D as I have no idea how busy we will be.

The second highlight of the weekend is the campout we have scheduled for Friday and Saturday nights at the Kentucky Horse Park Campground, south of Georgetown, just off I-75 at exit 120. Reservations are not possible, sorry. We were unable to find a campground anywhere near that would accept reservations, seems to be an unfortunate trend these days.

From Georgetown, Route 62 will take you to U. S. 27, turn left(north) onto 27. Take 27 all the way through Cynthiana, and our shop is a mile north of downtown, on the left.

Please contact us if you need additional directions, want us to order a certain part, or parts for you, or want to win a prize for being the 1000th person to ask if the Hooters girls will be there! :D :D :D (just kidding on that one ! ) Gimme a holler on this thread, so we'll know you've seen this info, and that you're coming on up!

Stake, wish you could be here, you'd get along great with all my friends...

Keith, if I told you there'll be a few local girls hanging around, would that do? :D

Thanks for the support, Fred !

Well you know I can't make it, but man I hope to get up there soon enough. Good luck Tom, if you ever need help in the shop for a month or so, let me know bud!!!

You da man, Tom! My timing is a little bit off... I was in N. D. the greatest of ventures!... and those of you that are there, please post pics of the shop, Tom and the Hooters' Girls!

Brian

Dave, you're working that weekend? How did you know there's gonna be a fire? :D Hanging out washing the trucks, is what I hope you mean :D . Sorry you can't make it...

Brian, come on up anytime! Bummer you'll miss the party, the shop is really looking good !

You didn't tell me

I didn't know there was going to be Hooters girls at the grand opening. :--) Maybe I will have to postpone that 4wheelin trip.

Man this is a difficult decision.

Hooters girls or playing in the mud:confused:

How bout both, Hooters girls playing in the mud!:D

Sorry I can't make it Briar:{ Squeez some Hooters for me. ;)

Darrell

No Hooters girls at the Grand Opening, that's a long-standing GLTDR inside joke, :D having to do with Thunder in Muncie. (see my original post above where I said "just kidding") Sorry. But the locals make up for it. :D :D :D

Nah, Tom - gotta work at my "real" job - the one that pays the mortgage. Firefighting is my hobby and passion - but it doesn't pay me much.

Good luck and have fun - I'll get over there sometime. Sounds like a great location for future events?!:D

Dave

If you want, I'll bring my digital camera and take lots of pics of the wrenching, camaraderie, drink fests by the camp fires, et al... .
