black oil

Only have 800mi on the new 05 checked the oil level and found it to be black as coal. My 95 did not turn black till it had around 2500 on it . anyone else notice this and is this normal

Black oil is normal on the 05's. There is a lot of information previously written on this subject. Mine does the same. Enjoy your new truck
