I tried to use my new oil pump from blackstone today. Followed the directions ( I have a masters degree. LOLOL ) and when I test it on my finger I do get a little suction. Put it down the dipstick tube and can pump forever and get NOTHING... It is making it to the oil. . any ideas??? I still don't see how it even sucks oil out since the tube goes right into the bottle and into the sump... thanks!

I would say the tube needs to be at least as long as the dipstick. It should also have a weight at the end so it doesn't float. you might also try priming the pume first.

JEEZE - after your poor results with those "fuel line magnets" last month, I thought you learned your lesson - how much DID you pay for that Masters Degree, anyway? :-laf:-laf:-laf

I have no clue what your talking about as far as the fuel line magnets????? That wasn't me! LOLOL But I did pay about 30,000 for my Masters degree!! We;ll I am PAYING that for it now... :-laf Today I did a test and pumped some water to make sure the pump was working, sure enough it was... The line is the one they supplied and it sure is long enough, I pushed it all the way until it hit something and would go no further... The end of the pipe did have oil on it as if it was submerges so who knows!!
