How come I can't put a pic in my sig. The image keeps coming up as a URL in my sig. Also, we have been good boys, so how about avatars?

Pictures are not allowed in signatures because of the amount of bandwidth they take up which will slow down page loads (especially for dial up users). Avatars are disabled for the same reason. We have to take into account the entire breadth of users from those on slow dial up connections up through those on high speed connections.



You can change your default subscription by pulling down the discussion forums menu to user control panel and then click on edit options. You now have the option of getting no notifications, immediate notifications, daily notifications, or weekly notifications - up to you. That will not change existing subscriptions - to change those you need to go to the user control panel and click on list subscriptions on the left then change it however you want.
