Well, I've just completed replacing my VP44 from Blue Chip Diesel by following their included instructions. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, so I'll say a thank you to BCD. My problem now is that I'm not sure how to bleed the system of air. I know how to do the low pressure side and have done that several times. I know the VP is void of fuel as are all my lines. How do I proceed? Someone please tell me I don't have to crack the last 2 injector ports! I don't think I can even get to them. Also, is the numbering 1-6 from front of the engine to the back? Thanks for the help!

I have had good luck just cracking two or three injector lines on the head that are easy to get to. Have someone crank the engine while you open and close the line. Close the line when you start seeing fuel and before the engine stops cranking. The engine will probably start running (roughly) by the time you crack the third line. The engine will smooth out on its own.

My truck is running good. I cracked 1, 3 and 4 and had a friend turn the engine over. The air purged quickly and I closed all three lines. Then tried to start it up. the engine started right up with just a little roughness that smoothed out in just a few seconds. I still had a check engine light that cleared while driving it within a mile or so of my house. It's good to have my ride back! Thanks for the help.
