Does anyone know the correct procedure for bleeding the power steering on a 2004,CTD, 3500? My buddy has a seal out and we are going to change the power steering assy.

Thanks, any info is certinally appreciated.

Its a self-bleeding system. After you swap it out and fill up the fluid, move the steering wheel back and forth lock-to-lock or so and then check the fluid level. Top off as needed. Pretty easy

cycle the steering lock to lock several times before starting the truck. this will prevent pockets of air causeing cavitation.
