It was time to replace ALL the coolant hoses, I had done the radiator hoses maybe twice in past 23 years, but the three 5/8" coolant lines were OEM hoses 23 years later and probably on somewhat borrowed time.
So I installed a silicone coolant hose set from Mr Bob's Distributing, new Cummins thermostat and new Fleetguard premixed coolant.
Then I decided to splurge on some sprucing up the engine bay since I had a couple coolant related items off the truck anyway. Shout out to @AEdelheit and crew at Commercial Powder Coating in Bend, OR
