94 1 ton rear freeze plug was leaking. Bought a billet bracket kit but it did not come with bolts. Nobody seems to be able to tell me what size and pitch thread?? Can anybody confirm?? I cant see the holes back there just feel them.hope I dont have to pull the trans.
What I've done to figure out what bolt ya need is to take a tap you think will fit and try it in the hole you can usually tell approximately with yer finger the size and start from there when you get a tap that will screw in without much force that's the bolt you need
That is an option, however if you know the holes I am talking about its a sun of ... to get to. Also the holes have been empty for 20 years and are awful rusty. If anybody else has an idea that would help a lot. Thanks in advance.

Are you not talking about the bolts on the back of the block, either side of the freeze plug above the transmission adapter plate? Those are the ones I'm talking about.
