One of my buddys just called and said that his truck died on him and he could not get it to restart. He started looking around and the bottem of the truck was coated with fuel and that when he pulled the dipstick the engine was full of diesel fuel also.

Any ideas please help!!!

Thanks, Brad

I've heard of it a couple times on a third gen. Once was a problem with the CP3 (high pressure pump) and the other was an injector. Any warrantee left?

Yes there is warrenty left. This is on a 2004. 5 truck. About 4 months ago he had two injectors lay down on him and the dealer replace them both. I was wondering if an injector could cause this problem. The truck never filled itself with diesel fuel last time. Could this be from a broken injector.

Thanks, Brad

Thanks Alan you are correct. I talked to him this weekend and Friday the dealer told him that the o-ring on the injector had split.

Thanks guys for all of yor help

Brad
