block heater cable

so I picked up one of these on eBay and I am wondering if it makes a difference which direction the "L" of the cable goes. Is it possible to connect this 180° wrong? I wouldn't think so, but I don't want to take any chances. I chose to run mine heading away from the oil filter.

It won't make any diff other than making the routing better or worse.

mine only fit one way... the wire hit something the other way.

It won't matter to the heater. Whichever way you want to put it.

The one from Genos is a lil different than the oem.
