Block heater parts?

Toots' block heater started leaking coolant. Took it out and the back u-shaped steel plate that holds it in the freeze plug hole had one end corroded away and let the assembly slip out some. Where can I get parts? My local dodge dealer says they are not made any more. Will a later model part work?

You are asking about a direct replacement block heater unit? I know Geno's Garage sells them for a great price. They carry the cord and the heating element. Hope this helps!

Go to NAPA or for about half the price, any heavy truck dealership . Give the serial number and ask for the block heater for your 5. 9 Cummins made by Zero Start. Comes with the new cord.
