I need to get a block heater (should come stock oh well) What do I need to get (part numbers)??? Is it the whole mess or do I need to get the heater and the cord seperate??? How hard is it to put it in? Will fluid come out??? If so does this go in the antifreeze or oil. What kinda antifreeze do I use if I need it. prices??? Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks a million

I bouht a 04. 5 3500 lwb and the block heater was already installed... . I just had to buy the $43 dollar cord from the parts department... Another way to seperate your money from your wallet. :D

Geno's

I was told by an informed friend (at least he thinks so) that all these trucks have heater built in to the block. Notice when ordering it is only 9 or 10 bucks for heater option. I think that is cord at cost. At a local dealer the cord lists for $96. 00-ridiculous. Get your cord from Geno's-----$26. 00 last time I checked.
