Where does the 22 shell go to block the waste gate. Is there a line that goes from the turbo to the waste gate? It's for my Brother-in-law's truck and I don't have the truck here to look at. He has an 02 auto (HY turbo). At which end of the line does it go. Is it easley accessed? A detailed installation instruction would be nice.

Cliffman,

On your b-i-l's truck, he/you will have to use a turnbuckle to disable the wastegate. I'd post a picture of how it is done, but I don't know how. PM me with your email addy and I'll send it to you.

cul,

Casey

Edited to reflect inserted image. I done figured it out, postin pictures that is.

ditto, what he said. You can't do the . 22 shell or boost elbow on some autos. You will have to turnbuckle the wastegate shut.

Uh guys, I did not hear the words "Boost Fooler" mentioned anywhere. If he blocks/disables the wastegate and goes over 20psi, he will set a code, and/or go into limp mode.

Can't do one without the other. Need to have something that will act as a boost fooler.

I'm assuming that the Bully Dog box my brother-in-law installed has a built in boost fooler. Man, if it dosen't what a rip-off!
