I'm wanting to do the blow-by bottle fix but I have a question or two before I begin. My plan is to remove the bottle and connect a hose long enough to extend behind the cab. I'm hoping to eliminate the odor, or at least direct it elsewhere and also make it easier to clean the bottle (big hands and arms don't fit into small spaces).
Anyway, my question. I've read others post that they've just run the new hose back along the frame and let it hang. Will that eventually drip oil? I don't want to have oil stains on the blacktop driveway.
Should I be concerned about keeping a consistant down angle to the hose (like I was doing a drain line in my house)?
Can I run one hose and risk kinking it where it makes the 90 degree bend or should I use a 90 degree elbow with straight sections of hose and hose clamps?
Thanks guys!
