camshaft cover replacement?

I'm in the process of replacing the fuel pump on my '95 and have noticed the plastic cover from which the vent tube exits is leaking oil. There is an area bulged out to where you can almost slip your finger under. How serious is this for needing to be replaced? How difficult a job is this?

I took several digital pictures, but can't figure out how to post them. If someone could walk me thru the process I can post them.

Thanks

the part you can stick your finger under is most likely the noise insulation they put on the tappet cover. It tends to pull away fom the cover itself after many miles.

If the tappet cover gasket is leaking oil its kinda a pain in the butt to do it right cause the injection pump is in the way and is easier to remove then work around it.

the tappet cover gasket has a in/out way its gotta go on, so pay attention when removing the old one to its orientation.

If you email me your pics -- email address removed -- I will post them for you.
