I can smell the Shell inside the cab now that I did the oil change. It smells almost like it did out of the bottle. There is a slight steam coming out the road draft tube once warm but in no way is this excessive.

If I run a piece of tube to the back of the truck, with this impede the breathing of the crankcase? I heard this blowby is not good to breathe. Can I just use the el cheapo vinyl tubing from a hardware store?

Smoke coming out of the breather tube is one thing but steam is another.

If it is steam seems you have head gasket leaking and just about to blow.

Draft tube smell.

I always had the smell on my '99. Recent oil change or not. If the weather's cold and you look down there it'll resemble steam. I never used a drop of oil w/two 53 blocks though. Almost zero smell w/my '07. :)

someone had a aditive for sale i think it was genos that will eliminate that oil smell after changes. dont know if it works mine only seems to smell for the first 1000 miles?
