I took my truck in for a major leak on the front end. I was thinking it was the power steering, but I gues it blew both transmission cooler lines!!:--) With only 600 miles on the truck I'm a little bumbed. I guess they blew out at the "quick disconnect" according to the service writer. Not sure why they have a quick disconnect on the transmission cooler??? If one blew, I could see maybe faulty craftsmanship, but BOTH!!! I'm getting a little nervouse!! I guess they have to get the parts from the factory, so it won't be up untill next wens or thurs.

I just had mine in at 300 miles for a transmission fluid leak up front. It was leaking at the cooler connections. First they replace the hoses then it still leaked so they replaced the cooler and hoses, so far so good. The tech said the cooler connections had groves in them ?????

a little relief!!

That is where mine is leaking. sounds like maybe a bad batch of coolers? I wonder if they changed Cooler systems from 03 to 04? Sounds like it will be an easy quick cure! how many mile on the new cooler and lines?

Hmmm. I seem to remember something similar happening on the Auto equipped O3s. It was caused by plastic fittings that would essentially melt. A recall happened to fix them all. Same mistake again on the 04s?

MAK - Are you talking about the check valve anti-drainback problem? That was the ball in the check valve absorbing ATF and swelling so it jammed.
