Do the rest of the 03's out there seem to 'hiss' when the blower is turned us and the temp is set to hot? Does not make this nose when set on cool. Also does not sound like a vacuum leak, more like air escaping by a divertor. Since air blows out of the proper places based on vent settings, I don't think this is the ' broken door' issue that reported.

YES! I have that same noise. In fact I went to the dealer over it and the service tech couldn't hear the noise (has bad ears I guess). Anyway I sat in an 04 on the lot and it had the same noise, so I decided to just deal with it for now.

It is pretty annoying and if there is a fix I'd LOVE to know.

Mine's the same. I think it is normal. It took me awhile to get used to it. The noise kind of reminds me of the sound my exhaust brake made on my Y2K, so I was always trying to turn off the brake at a stop sign, when in reality it was the blower fan.

I also have a windshield fogging problem on cool humid mornings (30-50F). Even with the AC compressor on in defrost mode (no recirc) it sometimes takes 8-10 minutes to clear - regardless of temp setting. Dangerous if you pull out and think/hope the AC will clear it off in 50 feet or so!!! Had to stop on my road and wait like a dummy on several occaisions (almost making me late for work). Hey as for the heater duct 'hiss', maybe I'll just install a Scotty III or AFE then I won't hear it!!!
