I've got a new replacement blower motor I need to install but can't find my shop manual. My problem is accessing the electrical connection to the plug for the blower motor. There isn't enough access between the bottom of the console behind the glove box to pull the connector out (not sure if the wire's long enough anyhow). The plastic console behind the glove box appears to be part of the console itself (all one piece), so my question is how do I access the connector without removing the console ? There doesn't seem to be an obvious way of gaining access. Any help is appreciated.

I have Haynes manual that covers 95, factory manual for 99, the 99 manual shows the plug for the wire to be at the bottom of the motor with three screws holding motor in place. The Haynes just says "unplug electrical connector". Both say disconnect the battery ground before working under dash if you have air bags. bg
