2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission blower motor resistor location

where is it on my 98?

Right next to the fan motor. It has a square 4 wire plug going into it, two of them are green and brown.

Look on the passanger side under the dash. Find the fan and as the previous poster said it is attached to the fan. Pull out the connector plug (I can't remember if there is a little keeper to depress or not, some of these plugs are a bear to uncouple) and remove two screws and its out. It's pretty simple fix.
