On my 2002 ram the blower motor just started to work on only the high setting and my a/c compressor doesn't turn on at all, any suggestions on where to start looking at?
 
Check the resistor block for the motor, it is located somewhere behind the glove box and is mounted on the case of the Ac/heater assy. All the speeds except high go through a resistor. bg
 
It sounds like your blower motor resister pack is bad. I'm assuming your 2002 is like my 97. The high speed of blower bypasses the resister pack and the lower speeds tap off different points of the resister pack. So if high works then the resister pack or wiring or the fan speed switch is suspect.



The resister pack is mounted with 2 screws to the blower. Lay down on the passenger side floor and look for a black wire bundle with wires plugging into the resister pack which will be toward the left side of the blower which you will see when looking up. It's a little cramped under there and the one back (Phillips) screw is hard to see but you can feel for it. It takes a small stubby phillips on the front easy one an offset small screw driver on the back one. There is very little room at the back screw for even the smallest screw driver other than the offset one. You can unplug the connector and check voltages or remove the resister pack and ohm it out. It's possible your fan speed switch is bad but it's easier to checkout the blower resister pack first.

When my blower motor quit I went to a U-pull-it yard and pulled one from a wrecked 1500. While I was at it I removed the resistor pack in order to have a spare. They charged me $10 for the blower and $1 for the resistor.
 
Unplug the wire from the switch, low pressure is on the accumulator. Use a multimeter set on resistance and probe the two terminals of the switch, low switch will show no reading below about 25 pounds and should show continuity above 43 pounds. The high pressure switch should show continuity up to over 400 pounds and resets at 3590 pounds. I'm not sure where the high switch is located but it will be at or on the discharge line from the compressor to the condenser which is mounted in front of the radiator. bg(
