Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) blowing fuses

1997 12 valve , lost tach and speedo and alt. found 10 amp engine fuse blown changed fuse ,but it keeps blowing . Any thoughts?thanks,Ron

If it blows right away, there is probably a power wire somewhere, shorted straight to ground.

Disconnect the wires from the Alternator replace the fuse and start the engine if the fuse doesn't blow I'll give one guess where the problem is at. If it does blow your going to have fun finding the short. Don't forget the big wire on the alt is hot all the time tape it up real good.

Did you find it? Check the engine speed sensor too...
