2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission blowing fuses

I have an electrical problem with my pickup. Before I tear the whole dash apart looking, Is there a place in the wiring that is prone to wear or shorting that goes to the power outlets (cigarete lighter)? Mine blows the fuse as fast as you replace it. Worked fine until the last week. I use it to plug in my phone and battery chargers for my cordless tools.

Unplug the lighter it's self, probably shorted inside. The plug should pull off the back. bg

went through 6 fuses before I found the problem. It it the plug on my milwaukee charger. The way the end is made it shorts out if pluged into the cigar lighter. I guess I'll change out the factory to an aftermarket that won't do that.

If it short immediately check and make sure a penny or dime didn't fall into the hole... happened on my wifes car
