I recently (last Thursday) discovered my head gasket was blown/cracked and was pouring anti freeze down the block. It is currently at Scheids Diesel waiting on 12mm head studs, 0-ringing the head and heavier valve springs (so I can use the 4 gsk, figured they could do it while head was torn down). Pricey yes, but not worrying about head gasket problem anymore is worth it.
Does this sound like the steps I should be taking to make more power in the future? Is there anything else I should make sure is done?
