Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Blown head gasket

As the thread title indicates I got a problem... ..... hehe. Just one question, what is the best way to clean the cooling system of oil? TIA

Beleive it or not, Dawn Dishwashing liquid and a garden hose. I used that cheesy Preston flush kit, but I took it off after I was done. No way was I cutting one of my heater hoses.

I used dishwasher soap. I didn't want to get any suds. It took a lot of distilled water to get everything out though. I think I refilled the system five times. I haven't seen any traces of oil in 20k.

I didn't think that prestone flush would work. Never thought about dish soap, once again thanks

I've been there too. Dynomite Diesel Performance fixed me up using a special oil solvent that Cummins sells just for this. Its not cheap but it works.
