Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Blue Chip APPS repair?

Has anyone used the Blue Chip product to repair an APPS? I ordered one and just wonder if there is anything that I should know that is not in Chip's instructions that may be of help. I am trying to decide whether to install the rehastat myself or let someone else do it.

I have it on my truck... it is very easy to install. Just a few screws and one plug. If your truck in an automatic I would recommend doing the suncoast rewire also while u have it apart.

I used TIMBO's APPS I think it's the exact same thing.



been in there over a year now, no problems, easy to install, just make sure you have all the RIGHT size wrenches, the bolts are pretty tight.



I think you need metric. It lasted a lot longer then my factory replacement did. $520 and less then one year. The price of these retrofits, you can afford to carry a spare.

its Timbo's what it looks like. if its not Timbo's than I think someone took his idea. but very easy unit and yes save big $$$.
