I am running the wires for my Blue Chip box and do not want to run the power wires to the fuses due to two reasons:
1. There is not enough room to run the fuse taps as they stick out and hit the wire pack that runs to the box (I ran it through the fuse panel door). Plus, the taps do not fit the mini-fuse blades.
2. Similar to #1, it is crowded enough as it is in there now so I would like to connect the red power and brown dimmer light wires to other sources.
What is the easiest wire to tap into that provides power to a dimmer light? Does my map light dim? I took apart the dimmer switch but there are so many wires and I am horrible at electrical.
As for the power wire, it was supposed to tap into Fuse #9 which is according the Chryslet manual is a 10 amp for "Engine (JTEC, ASD Relay, fuel pump relay coil, diesel engine controller)"
What would the easiest place to tap into this one for? Could a ignition-on source work?
Thanks guys, appreciate it!
I will be hooking up the fuel pressure sender, inj. pump, EGT probe and boost as soon as I get the triangle MAP plug adapter from Blue Chip.
