Help on transmission (manual) repair for Son's Dodge

Where to get the best deal on a HX40 cartridge?

A while back, I bought a used Blue Chip FMS box through a guy that I found here on the TDR. Unfortunately, he pulled the box without pulling ALL the additional parts that I needed to install it in my truck. Due to the fact that this is a used box, I thought that I might have a hard time getting the necessary missing pieces.

NOT SO MY FRIEND! I called up Chip at Blue Chip Diesel. He said that they build a product which they feel is worth standing behind... no matter how many owners it has seen. A few questions later (and a few days for shipping) and I had all the parts I needed to install the box.

I'm sure that none of you are as excited about this little story as I am. But, I just wanted to commend Blue Chip Diesel on their EXCELLENT customer service. The people that I dealt with were very knowledgeable and friendly. Too many times we are (more specifically "I am") ready to warn others of bad experiences, but not tell of the times when things went well.

So the moral of the story is that I HIGHLY recommend dealing with Blue Chip Diesel if you have the opportunity.

And as a side note, ever since I put in the box, I can't get this stupid :D off of my face!

Chip is an awesome guy! He helped me out of a bind with what turned out to be user error on my FMS while he was at Muncie. I left him a message at his office and he called me from his cell phone within 2 hours and we had it all worked out. Very helpful and friendly fella

I would like to compliment Chip, too.

I always try to research before I buy. I called Blue Chip and the gentleman on the phone spent at least 15 minutes with me, answering every question I could put to him regarding boxes, upgrades, etc. He seemed unrushed and perfectly willing to take as much time as needed to educate me. :)

When I thanked him and asked his name, he said "I'm Chip. " I wish more people were this customer oriented!
