Rust Removal

Crafstman tools

I just posted this in the Guns Forum & thought I'd try here, also.

For my shotgun I just bought an extra shell holder that mounts on the guns receiver. They suggest using Blue Loctite on the screw threads & I need to be able to remove this thing, occasionally. Is there some household product that holds better than nothing but, not as strong as the Loctite? I don't want a nightmare trying to remove this thing when I need to.

Thanks.

I think the green loctite is easier to remove than the blue. Go to their website. Many products there. You could also try a dab of your wifes nail polish.

PTS, liquid pipe thread sealant i use it on large bolts that need to stay but also have to be removed. The screws must be small so only a wee bit, enen better get screws and nuts of same size and experiment may prevent bigger problem Laurie
