i jsut had my timing bumped up from 8degrees to 16. 3 degrees. i then installed a 3k gsk the next day, then the following day did some valve changing on the dtt trans. anyway my prob is i was in the back country of west virginia hunting, on the way out of the woods, truck was cold, idling at 800 through the mud pits i saw a slight blue haze coming out of the tail pipe. when i would shift into neutral or park it would go away, also once i stopped for fuel and after it had warmed up there wasnt any sign of blue smoke. could this just be because of a cold engine being lugged alittle? or is something else the problem? truck runs great, only smokes black when warm, gets 18 mpg, i cant complain, jsut curious if anyone knows the answer out there.

Stinks too, doesn't it? No way to break it to you gently, but it is from the timing advance; and that is not a bad thing.

Wait until you find out there is little to no white smoke on colder mornings. This morning (10°F) I went down the road with almost no visible exhaust. The gassers were really blowing smoke.

You're gonna love the timing advance with the gsk, too. The combo really helps bring up the power curve.
