Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Blue Smoke

What does Blue Smoke out the tail pipe indicate, I was told that my truck lets loose a litte blue/gray smoke on take off with my Edge comp turned off and all black when she's on.

Blue smoke typically means OIL... ... . Mine occasionally lets loose with a little BLUE at a cold start. No movement on the dipstick so I'm not worried.
