No, no bike yet! But I am proud to say I am now an employee of BMW Motorcycles of Denver.

I applied a month ago and they told me business would pick up in a month or so. Well, I stopped by and they talked it over again while I was there, just looking at bikes, not nagging about the job! While I was out demo-ing a 1200 GS they finished the stuff and I can start (as soon as the drug test is done)!

So stop in and say hi! I will be there part time evenings and on Saturdays.

You know I actually asked about the discount 2 minutes after I filled out the app. I just had to ask, but I told them I wasn't trying to get the job for the discount, but it will help!

I was told it wasn't a lot, but will find out when I am ready to buy. I think the most important thing is the money I will save in the long run by learning about the bikes, and fixing them properly and correctly the first time. Kind of like guys who know about the TDR, and guys who don't.

My title is "Lot Tech". I will be pushing/riding bikes in and out for display outside, checking tire pressure, checking batteries, cleaning them, stocking shelves, helping sales guys, etc.

Thanks for the congrats!

Hi. Congratulations on the job. Not that I'm really into this sort of thing, but

looking at all the Ferd/Hardly trucks around here, I can't help thinking what a

Cummins/Ram/BMW edition would look like?

Maybe I should mention a Ram/BMW Motorrad Edition to them, see if headquarters likes it ;)

Probably a blue/white paint scheme with a Cummins "C" like a mouth over a BMW roundel on the fender. Maybe some wheels modeled after the Boxer Cup wheels... '

Hmmm... . :)

Nick

Maybe with a dash full of real expensive analog gages - 160 mph speedo, EGT, the works.

a leather shifter boot, upgraded clutch, about 450 stock horsepower, some blue headlights to dazzle folks with, some

interior accents too. On second thought, don't mention this to them, cause

I'm happy with my 02 and I'd have to live in it if I traded, besides making liar

out of myself about not liking "combo" vehicles!

Congrats Nick!

I think the BMW/Cummins thing is a good idea but do you think a Daimler company would be partners with BMW :-{} :-laf
