I saw an older beautiful boat last fall that I could've got for a steal. It was a Carter maybe? It was a 1975, but it still looked good and the structure was beautiful. It was about a 28' or so, and I'm guessing with the trailer it would've been about 10k lbs. It is just about as big a boat as you could pull (due to its size, not necessarily weight). I got to thinking about that boat a couple days ago and thought about how much fun it would be just dragging it out to the lake with the Cummins Ram. Here's where the problem crops up.
I'm sure I'd get tired of the rig-a-mu-role (sp?) of getting the boat off/on the trailer and parking such a big truck and trailer in the parking lot.
I bet I'd wind up on my way to the lake with the boat HAVING TOO MUCH FUN TOWING THE BOAT, SO I'D DECIDE JUST TO KEEP PULLING IT AROUND TOWN FOR AWHILE AND GOING ON HOME WITHOUT EVER GETTING WET. Yep, that's the curse of the Cummins. Towing anything with that beast would be so much fun, buying the boat would be a waste of money.
Ooooooo, I know what would keep me wanting to take the boat out and actually want to put it in the water when I got to the lake! Putting a Cummins in the boat! The boat I was looking at was big enough. Yeah, that's the ticket! Cursed we are my brothers, by the wicked, wicked
