Wanting to buy gauges? Which ones?

Which Oil?

Whats the chance of having a program made that enables the high idle at say 30 degrees? Or even better have the option to set it at what ever temp that you want. (Similar to setting your tire size. ) What do you say guys???

No one has a reply?? Man After reading the other threads about their high idle I figured there would be some guys with opions. The more who respond the biger of a demand for a solution or future changes.

I voted 30 but in reality they should not even be on a temp basis it should be on an idle time set after say 1 minute of idle it should ramp up to high idle no matter what the temp is. As everyone that owns a diesel should know the #1 BIGGEST KILLER of a diesel engine is excessive uneeded idleing. The 3 cyl cut out is what should be set at 30 and kick out at 140 engine temp. This would be the best for the engine.

Marco is enabling a chryler option within the ecm parameters.

I don't know how much can be done.

I will get with Marco and ask :)

Thanks for passing the word on Bob. It seems that a few of us would like a diff/extra program. Much appriciated. :D

Personally, I would like the setup like Class 8 trucks and the newer CR trucks have that lets you use the cruise to activate and tweak the high idle up and down... . but I'm thinking that may be a pie-in-the-sky idea. I did mention it once back on the Smarty thread but I know at the time Marco pretty much had his hands full trying to get the CR Smarty done.

Here in AZ, dont know if mine works or not..... but I would like to have it kick on high idle at a higher temp... around 50 degrees.

I think it would be neat if we could adjust the temperature or select a preset temp at which it would start the high idle function. I am happy with the way it works presently, I left work today and at the post office a mile away it ramped up to 1400. After that I scooted over to the bank and it there too went up to 1400. The temp was in the low 20's today here.
