Body Code Plate Location?

I'm looking in my '00 factory manual and it says it is either under the passenger seat on the floorpan or attached to the front face of the radiator closure panel. I have looked and can't find it. I want to do some number decoding. Any clues #ad

It was on the hood on my 98. It's not there now 'cause I have a different hood.

Jeff,
I saw the sticker you are talking about on the inner hood panel,this is referred to as the Equipment Identification Plate which I believe is the same as the one in the glovebox. The Body I. D. Plate has codes for the paint,engine,trans,trim,etc... I am interested just to find out exactly what this truck has on it. I'm into this sort of thing. Thanks.

Open up your hood. On the right side there is a metal stamped steel plate with all the build codes for your truck. Where the a/c lines come out and go to condenser, there is a square tube, it is riveted to it on the front.
