Why cant you put a body lift kit on a diesel?

I havent heard you cant put a body lift on a diesel but I havent heard you cant. I have seen some chevys around town that have body lifts though and they look crummy. If you ever want to pull a gooseneck you have to custom build the hitch which is a PITA. Took me and another guy 8 hours to do one at the shop when normal instal takes 3 for one person.

There is a diesel body lift available. If I remember correctly, Performance Accessories is the company.



But I could be wrong on that one.

I thought the reason was because of the interference with the intercooler boots..... Jim

I've got a 3" Performance Accessories lift on my truck. The only issues were the intercooler tube on the driver's side had to be shortened and the transmission linkage was a pain to get just right. I've got pictures of it in my photo gallery. The lifted pictures start in the fourth row down.
