Body molding placement 06 mega

Just ordered my decor kit in black from the dealer. Have a few days before it gets here and was wondering if someone had some close up pictures I could use as a guide for placement. Thanks

OK no pics well anyway I got the kit from the dealer but it was chrome when I opened the box. So this morning I took it back and in order to get it in black the price jumps to 363. 68 with tax. So for that price the chrome looks great but still not what I want. Any one have any molding in black that was taken off in good shape? I'm looking.

LMC usually carries high quality body parts and accessories for our trucks. Here is a link to their page for 3rd gen body moldings in chrome or black. I have never bought anything from them before, but they have been around a long time, are based in this country, and supposedly have good customer service. Let us know what you do.

You are right seafish LMC does carry good stuff and I have bought from them before. I guess it's just the fact that the molding they sell comes in a role. I would have to see it first. The chrome mopar kit is four hard plastic pieces with the 3M tape already applied.

I finally made up my mind and went with the chrome. I like the look ok. It installed easy just used tape from the bottom of the sheet metal to get a straight line on each side. Maybe I can get some pics up soon.

I went through the sam thing w/ my new 4500, except I didn't want the chrome. I bought the roll stuff in black and just put it on. Looks great and I only paid $40 and free shipping. I had done the same thing w/ my '02 3500 right after I bought it. I wanted factory molding all the way back to the bed. worked great.
