I made this a few years ago for a 70 Challenger I was restoring. It'll hold an entire car (or as pictured the tub of my '78 Ramcharger) and rotate 360* completely around. I just finished the RC's tub with it. It's strong enough so that when a body is bolted in place it can be rolled as-is right onto a flatbed trailer and, as shown in the first pic, taken to a media blaster.

It had 6 casters initially, but when loading onto the trailer the center two wheels (shown in 1st pic at the tips of the base units - removed later) were trying to hold the weight, and they tried to buckle. Removed the center casters and connected the bases together and only needed the outer corner casters for mobility - worked great.

The whole thing is adjustable in about every way, and with minor mods can be tailored to be used on nearly any vehicle.

For the RC tub I used the front body mounts and the rear valance panel just above where the rear bumper sits.

Grade 8 7/8" nuts and bolts used as 'stops' - weld the nut to the round tubing, thread the bolt, tighten as necessary. Additional holes drilled at 45* and 90* and pins inserted as positive stops just like an engine stand.

The front half:

The back half:

Base (same front and back): Adjustable vertically for any application.

The hands: Holes shown (drilled sideways) were initially used to bolt up to where the front bumper brackets attach to the Challengers' front frame. Drilled vertical holes to attach the RC's front body mount.

You can see the outer holes are much bigger than the inner, so the sockets will fit.

The feet: Similar holes for similar function - worked equally well for the RC rear mounts.

here's a pic of the RC's tub, on the rotisserie, at 70 mph...
