2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Body side moulding

I have a recently purchased an 02 2500 Quad cab short bed. The black 'rub' moulding stops at the rear door. I would like to add the same style moulding on the bed. Did any of the earlier models have this moulding?

my 99 slt laramie has the moulding that goes on the bed between the q/c door and the rear wheel. hope this helps

My 97 came with moulding from in front of doors to rear bumper,so you can go anywhere in between. I took mine off and it looks years newer,but new black moulding would, maybe, do the same thing. eg

They make the moulding that you are talking about. You just have to buy it. I had to add 6 separate pieces to finish my 2001 dually. Give Mopar4less.com a call.

The parts manual doesn't say anything about not fitting a short bed but you might want to verify this. Otherwise, it looks like you are only missing two pieces.

There is also a piece that goes behind the rear wheels, I have them all. I'll try to come up with the #'s. I was told when I bought them the piece's for the short bed were the same number for in front and behind well, and for long bed obviously a longer one or in front of well. You might be able to see them in my rigs pics. Good luck... ... .
