Why it's called a Mega cab

Check this guy out

My son is a plumber and he has installed several of these type of systems in high end homes.

He claims that you need at least a (1) one inch water line to feed the showers correctly and he also will install a tankless hot water tank just for the shower. He claims that he will not receive any complaints from the home owners this way. If you go with the tankless water heater you will need to run a sperate gas line and exhaust pipe for the tank.

This is what he told me when we were updating our bathroom last year. I choose not to go this way since my water and sewer bill would be extremely high do to the added water usage.

I recently replaced the water works in my shower in the master bath and spent a few longing moments drooling over a multi-head shower unit.

Then I came back to my senses and started thinking about water consumption (we have a drilled well) and the furnace cranking away while our shower times increased dramatically... ... ... :-laf

The tankless heater is a great idea if you were going to do the upgrade, that would be a perfect solution.

That steam shower looks to be the ULTIMATE upgrade, I would like to test drive one of those beauties!!!!

I would have to get up a half-hour earlier so I would have plenty of time to shower, would come out looking like a prune... ... . Oo.

Mike,

You would also need to drill a 6" hole for the water and probably another 1000 feet deeper to feed one of those showers.
