Boerne Event Canceled?

I was checking the calendar to make reservations and checked the website for all the details and saw that it shows to be canceled! Well, the hot rod show is that weekend and my wife is ready to go camping, so we'll probably go anyway. (I invited some non-TDR friends, one of which has a 36 Dodge rod. ) I may stay at a campgound in Comfort.

Cancelled... RobertP, can you let us know why this happened? Is there a possibility that the event will be rescheduled or possibly picked up by another Dealership? This is a real bummer for the Texas guy's.

Canceled?????

I have already sent in my reservation/application to the Boerne Superstore and have made reservations at Alamo Fiesta RV Park in Boerne. The RV park has already confirmed my reservation, but I haven't heard anything from the Boerne Superstore.

I think that's a good idea Jeff. I will make contact with Tim and see what he thinks. I would really like to hear the story from RPatton which may give us some direction, did the Boerne Superstore bail, TDR ect ect.

Unfortuneately, the event has been cancelled- for this year. Too many logistical things that could not be worked out. We're trying to rescheule for 2001. For those that had made RV rreservations, let me know if there is a problem with cancellation. This far out there should not be a problem?

All hope is not lost. Stay tuned for more details. 243 and I may have something up our collective sleeves. Possibly a day long meeting between the Dallas and Houston chapters and anyone else who wast to make the trip somewhere around Madisonville. I will post the details when they are worked out.
