Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Some time back I went through an automatic car wash and it caught the drivers side mirror pushing it forward and now the detent is in the wrong place. I can still position the mirror to work but when folded out towing it tends to move just a little not enough to lose effectiveness but annoying.
Has anyone successfully repaied this or at least taken one apart. I tried to take it apart but only got so far and was sure I'd break it if I went further. It appears to me to be dissassebleable but I couldn't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.
