bolens husky 1000 stripped mainshaft

A bought this garden tractor (1972 vintage) with mower deck and snow thrower for $150 for use and a resto project. After a tear down, the only item in need of repair\replacement is the mainshaft going into the transmission. Any idea where I can find one?

Ok, I got a new main shaift in but now I need help welding some cast iron PTO parts.



anyone in Connecticut that can weld cast?
