i had a revtek 2" level kit installed by a shop about a month ago (stock tires and shocks still). was driving down the freeway 2 weeks ago and a bolt fell out of the front traction bar doing 65 on the freeway. thought the truck was going to fall apart wobble was so bad had to be tow'd home.

took it back in and had it (fixed) haha, now truck makes a binding sound when turning and worse on bump or on take off. the truck rides very stiff and i can barely sip coffee doing 70 on freeway the truck bounces up and down so much!

has anyone else experienced anything like this or any suggestions on what is wrong???

thanks for any help everyone

Anytime work is done on the suspension/front end it's a good idea to jump under there after a hundred or so miles and give everything a nice re-torque. Most reputable shops I have been to actually want you to come back in a week so they can do just that.

Take it back. See my sig, I go in about every month or two to have everything checked out on the lift. Also made sure that Loc-Tite was used during the install.

The guys at Belle Tire here in Ann Arbor MI (Jackson Rd store) are great, no charge for check ups and alignments (tipping helps). And they are all Dodge/Mopar fans.

ok so heres the scoop guys.

got under there and checked all the bolts and pulled both shocks(boy was that a b!$ch).

the shop had tightened the left front side torsion bar bolt up so tight that it was binding against the torsion bar. its only a big deal on that side because the mounting block is not boxed in like on the other side. guess they didnt want another bolt falling out.

i retightened all the bolts myself with locktite. if u want something done right u had better do it yourself!!! thats the lesson out of this lift kit lol. thanks guys

well thats what they told me at the dealership but that figures. its a long solid round bar bent in 2 places. runs right front axle just underneath spring to left front frame. what is that called??
