It's a long story so won't bore ya with it. I am missing a bolt or ??? that is used to attach the fuel shutdown solenoid to the AFC. The bracket has three attachment points. Two of which are on top and used in conjunction with the AFC housing cover. The third, the one I'm missing is the one that is lower and inserts from firewall out towards the front. Can anyone identify the bolt thread and length for me? Thanks

Dave, I believe that is the same size screw as the ones holding the solenoid in place as well as the other two in the bracket. I'm not up on metric sizes but I think it is a 6mm diameter and 25mm long.

I have a spare one somewhere in the engine compartment but haven't been able to find it yet.

Thanks for the replies. Just wondering about one thing. If it is the same size metric bolt (except longer) which would make sense, why is it I could get a 5/16 bolt to go through the hole in the bracket and when I tried to thread that bolt on the AFC, it acted like it would thread OK if it was metric. I can only assume that since the metric bolt needs to be so long, it must go through some sort of sleeve or guide before the threeads can engage. Is this correct and why it felt like the 5/16 was close to the correct size. Hope I made that clear.

Hang on I'll go to the tool box and measure some for you . . M6*1. 0 * 40mm (tip of bolt to base of bolt head. . shank length). It goes thru a sleeve...

Glad you had the correct info, Andy. I wrote it down because I know I won't remember.

I think I had it out of there once but that was some time ago.

Sorry I mislead you Dave.
