Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Bomb a '53'?

Planning to start with a Comp or EZ. Shouldn't be a prob with a 53 block, should it? Presently have 143K miles.

Go ahead,bomb it. I hit 700+hp (estimate)on a #53 block,its all good. . I think it would have cracked already if it was weak.

Snowman I am soo jelous. I have the same truck and plowwith it. Except mine only has an EZ. And I thought mine could move some snow! Where are you in NY? I am near Albany...
