Wisconsin Meeting

O'rielly Nationals at Houstonraceway Park March 22-25

Piers, original was a 260. Now it has an original 289 cobra K motor. I'm debating to stick in a crated 302 w/aluminium heads=325hp #ad

Justbeamn, my buddy in Granite Falls has a never-been-fired 1973 Ford 351 Cleveland shortblock that he'd like to sell, if you're interested in going that big.

Great pictures, Kevin! I hope you don't mind me "stealing" one and posting it here, but I thought this was a great picture, with 3 hoods open in front of the garage. Note how the trucks are lined up side by side with almost "Navy Blue Angels" precision! When I saw this picture, I thought, "This is what it's all about!"

What an ugly looking group! Good thing y'all drive a good looking truck! #ad

Seriously, wish I was there. Glad it was fun for all.

justbeamn,I wouldn't take out that K motor. You should be at 306hp as is. Put aluminum heads on and you should get to 350hp no problem. But,if you really don't want that K motor, then I'll be glad to take it off your hands. #ad

N. W. Bombers,
First I would like to thank the Hansons and there very polite well mannered daughter.

Next I would like to thank everyone I met
for a very welcome feeling my wife and I received.

I have been a gearhead all my life. I bought my '95 Dodge Cummins to slow me down
(yea right!). Now I have a 2001. 5 H. O. Cummins.

This should become its own club!

What a Saturday to spend with nothing but Cummins Power. The information was tremendous. Every truck had its own personal touch. I was able to show the wife how certain items looked installed. Especially
Robs red valve cover(ordered mine on monday)
and the Banks High Ram. Very nice!

I left my vehicle open all day and did not even worry any one would take anything.

GREAT GROUP.

The ONLY problem is I have the fever even worse now.

Thnks Again, Sam

P. S. Rob as soon as I can drive again, I will be takin ya up on the injector install offer. Probably have you do the whole job. Unless they do a miraculous fix on my elbows.

Big-Bob,

Lets hear how you like the back lighting of your new gauges. Bright enough & color match to panel.

I'm trying to locate the Banks 3 hole "A Pillar" mount, but there web page doesn't show anything. Have any ideas where I might be able to order one? Heard they attach without using the original pillar.
Dave

Dave,

The gauges are working great, the blue bulbs I put in have turned color a little and believe it or not, my wife and I were committing tonight on how they changed color and match the dash light very well. They are bright enough to see clearly at night, they do not distract your vision at night by being too bright. I am really happy with them. Maybe I can get some night pictures and post them.

I had read a post awhile back stating the blue bulbs were the way to go with the Ultra-lite gauges, that's why I went to the blue bulbs and it is definately true. I don't know how the blue bulbs would work with a black background gauge probably not very good, but with the silver of the Ultra-lites it looks great!

Try calling Banks directly about the replacement 3 gauge piller with tweeter. They can probably help you. 1-800-438-7693 or 1-888-839-2700.

Hey Big-D, you should be able to order (or purchase if in stock) the Banks gauge panel you are seeking from The PowerShop in Enumclaw, WA. Contact Mike (parts man) at: 1-800-835-8839 or email him at: Mike@thepowershop.com I would use the phone as a primary contact avenue as he is very busy... he may or may not respond to email in a timely manor.

You know though..... the last time I was there the triple panel with tweeter they installed in a customers Ram was either a Gauge Works part or the Banks unit looks VERY close to the Gauge Works piece. #ad
Hmmm

BB & John,

Thanks for responding. I will give the Powershop first shot for I like dealing local whenever possible. Will let you know what happens. Need to get those darn things installed for its been almost a year now in the box. Shame on me...
Dave

Hi Big-D,
I would highly recommend Randy's Off Road. They are located in Smokey Point,
(360)659-5259. This will save you some drive time. I just picked up my duel steering stabilizer. The Skyjacker 2 1/2 lift kit is on order. Randy let me test a new
H. O. Van Aakin to see how I liked it. He handles BD, Banks and TST. E-mail me if you have any questions.
